Biscotti with Berries and White Chocolate

Biscotti with Berries and White Chocolate

These are great for a simple snack.
It's a recipe that is oil-free and egg-free.

I used two of my favorite ingredients: dried berries and white chocolate.

Ingredients: Approximately 8 biscotti

●Cake flour
45 g
●Whole wheat flour (or cake flour)
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
●Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon
White chocolate
20 g
Dried berries
20 g
2 to 3 tablespoons

1. Combine all ● ingredients in a bowl. Mix lightly with a whisk.
2. Add the finely chopped white chocolate and the dried berries.
3. Add the milk. Using a rubber spatula, fold in the mixture in cutting motion. Please adjust the amount of milk (refer to Helpful Hints).
4. Place the dough on a sheet of parchment paper. Dust the dough with a small amount of cake flour, and roll it out thinly (to about 1 cm thickness). Bake for 15 minutes in a 180℃ preheated oven.
5. Chop it up into 1 cm pieces. With the cut side facing up, bake for 20 minutes at 160℃.
6. These biscotti are also delicious dipped in chocolate.

Story Behind this Recipe

I'm so hooked on biscotti these days.
That's why I decided to make a recipe that suits my taste.

I'm sure they'd also taste great with nuts mixed inside.
