Freezable Marinated Pork Yaki-Niku

Soak some pork in this special marinade, wrap in plastic wrap and freeze. Then when you're in a hurry, all you have to do is thaw it and cook it! The flavor locks quite well into the meat.

Ingredients: An easy to make amount

Pork offcuts (or thinly sliced pork )
300 g
Vegetable oil for frying
as needed
White sesame seeds (For finishing touches)

Special marinade
Soy sauce
3 tablespoons
Honey
2 tablespoons
Sesame oil
1 teaspoon
Vinegar
1 teaspoon
Grated onion
1 tablespoon
Grated garlic
to taste
White sesame seeds
1 tablespoon
Shichimi spice
as needed
Katakuriko
2 teaspoons

Steps

1. Cut the meat into bite-size pieces and put it into a bowl. Next, add in all the marinade ingredients and mix well.
2. Divide Step 1 into 1-serving portions for a bento, and wrap in plastic wrap.
3. Place them in a freezer bag and freeze.
4. When using for a bento, thaw a plastic wrapped-portion in the microwave. Heat some vegetable oil in a frying pan. Cook on medium heat.
5. Pack them into your bento box. Sprinkle the sesame seeds on top.
