Earl Grey (Or you can use plain black tea or coffee etc.)
2 g (1 teabag)
Put the room temperature butter, sugar, egg and Earl Grey into a bowl and whisk. Cut in the flour. Tip: Don't knead.
Wrap and chill in the freezer for 30 minutes. Slice the cookies into 5 mm thick pieces and bake in an oven pre-heated to 340°F/170°C for 17 minutes.
When they have cooled, they're done.
Story Behind this Recipe
I made a simple combination with the nice fragrance of tea. The cookies are not so sweet, so I recommend eating with jam, honey, chocolate sauce, cream, etc.
If you put the bowl on a scale and add the ingredients in the correct order when combining them, you'll have less washing to do later. Also, if you put the scale on a chopping board over the sink, any sprinkles of flour that don't make the bowl will just fall into the sink, making cleaning easier too.
