Easy Earl Grey Cookies

Enjoy a luxurious teatime with the fragrance of tea. This uses a minimal amounts of butter and sugar.


Cake flour
110 g
Butter (or margarine)
30 g
30 g
30 g
Earl Grey (Or you can use plain black tea or coffee etc.)
2 g (1 teabag)


1. Put the room temperature butter, sugar, egg and Earl Grey into a bowl and whisk. Cut in the flour. Tip: Don't knead.
2. Wrap and chill in the freezer for 30 minutes. Slice the cookies into 5 mm thick pieces and bake in an oven pre-heated to 340°F/170°C for 17 minutes.
3. When they have cooled, they're done.

Story Behind this Recipe

I made a simple combination with the nice fragrance of tea. The cookies are not so sweet, so I recommend eating with jam, honey, chocolate sauce, cream, etc.
