15-Minute Melon Bread-Style Scones

All you need to do is mix the dough together in a plastic bag These crispy scones are quick and easy. Their mild, toned-down sweetness is great for people who don't have a sweet tooth as well.

Ingredients: 12 scones (5 cm diameter)

Pancake mix
200 g
Vegetable oil
50 ml
Granulated sugar
as needed


1. Add all of the ingredients except for the sugar into a thick plastic bag. Preheat the oven to 180℃.
2. Rub the ingredients together well and bring them together to form a dough. Divide the dough into 12 portions, roll into balls, and arrange them on parchment paper.
3. Score a crisscross into the top of the dough and sprinkle each one with sugar. Bake them in the oven for 8-10 minutes at 180℃.

Story Behind this Recipe

I wanted to make some quick scones so I mixed the ingredients together in a plastic bag. Somehow they looked and tasted like melon bread. My family loved them.
