1. How to make the [2 step simple batter]: Beat the egg in a bowl and then add in the flour and water and mix well until no longer lumpy.
2. How to make the [Basil sauce]. Mix all of the ingredients together for the sauce and then let it sit.
3. Cut the chicken breast meat diagonally into 1 cm thick pieces and put them in a bowl with the sake, sugar, and salt. Let them sit and marinate. This ensures the tenderness.
4. Once it has marinated for a while, go ahead and season with salt and pepper.
5. Next, coat the chicken with the coating.
6. Heat up some olive oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Properly fry both sides of the chicken now. Be careful not to burn them.
7. Once they are done, coat with the basil sauce from Step 2.
8. Once they have chilled, put them in a freezer bag and freeze.
9. When you're using them in a bento, take out only what you plan to use and heat it up in a microwave on a heat-proof plate.
10. If you want to make the flavor a bit richer, sprinkle a little salt and dried basil on it before you put it in the bento.
