As needed

1. Mix the ketchup and Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce. Taste and adjust the ratio.
2. Mince the onion. Finely chop the chicken thigh, then season with salt and pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan. Sauté the minced garlic.
4. Add the chicken thigh and onion, and continue cooking.
5. Then, add the ketchup. The key is to cook the ketchup before adding the rice to evaporate the water.
6. Now, add the rice and mix in with the ketchup and other ingredients. Season with salt and pepper. Add a few shakes of basil powder.
7. Dish it up nicely by shaping the rice. Top with cheese.
8. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Butter works too.
9. Crack eggs directly into the pan. Beat and mix with a spatula (like making scrambled eggs).
10. When it begins to harden, spread it out thinly. Turn the heat off when it's soft-set.
11. Slide it onto the rice with ketchup. Voila! Top with more ketchup if you like.
