No Baking Powder! A Snack for Babies Rice Flour Pancakes

These don't require baking powder, but are still delicious They don't puff very well but small children can eat them.

Ingredients: A serving for Mom and baby

Rice flour
100 g
Egg
1
Sugar
1+ tablespoon
Milk or soy milk
100 ml
Canola oil or olive oil
5 g

Steps

1. Break the egg in a bowl and beat with a whisk.
2. Mix in the sugar, canola oil, and milk.
3. Add in the rice flour.
4. Cook the pancakes in a heated frying pan without oil (or you can make one pancake at a time).
5. Once the pancakes begin to bubble, flip them over. When both sides have browned, they're done.
6. Optionally top with butter, honey, etc.
7. They are perfect for my 1 year old son's breakfast too.

Story Behind this Recipe

I thought up a recipe for pancakes that my 1 year old son could eat without a problem.
