Asparagus, Pork & Goji Berry Stir-Fry

This is a stir-fry that uses seasonal spring asparagus. This colourful dish will brighten up any dining table. This recipe is great for fighting hay fever too.

Ingredients: 2 servings

2 sticks
100 g
Goji berries
5 g
Wood ear mushrooms
5 g
Minced ginger
1 thumbtip-sized knob
Sesame oil
2 teaspoons
1 tablespoon
1/2 teaspoon
Soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon
1 1/2 teaspoons
1/3 teaspoon


1. Combine the A ingredients together. Roughly chop the asparagus into chunks.
2. Soak the wood ear mushrooms and goji berries in water. Slice the pork into bite-sized pieces and season it with the A ingredients.
3. Heat up the sesame oil in a frying pan and sauté the ginger. Add the pork and stir-fry, then transfer the contents of the pan to a plate.
4. Place the asparagus and wood ear mushrooms in the empty frying pan and stir-fry them. Once cooked through, add the pork back in with the goji berries and adjust the flavour with sake and salt.
5. Transfer everything to a plate and serve!

My co-workers and I made this dish together when we had a cherry blossom viewing event for the company. You can enjoy looking at this dish as well as eating it.

You can use wood ear mushrooms that haven't been pre-cut for extra crunchiness if you like!
