Vegetarian Twice Cooked "Pork"

Ingredients: 2 servings

Cabbage
160 g
Green peppers

Soy meat (sliced)
10 slices
Sesame oil
to taste
Seasoning
Miso
2 tablespoons
Beet sugar
4 teaspoons
Salt
a small amount
Powdered kombu
1/2 teaspoon
Sake
2 tablespoons

Steps

1. Reconstitute the soy meat in hot water.
2. Chop the cabbage and the green peppers.
3. Heat Step 2 in sesame oil in a frying pan and when they have cooked a little bit, add your soy meat from Step 1. Try not to overcook it!
4. Combine the seasoning ingredients well and then pour into Step 3, and it's all done.

I remember eating this at a restaurant before I became a vegetarian. I tried recalling the flavor of that dish with soy meat.
