Easy! Fruit Decorated Cake

This decorated cake is really easy to make. I simply topped it with fruit. If you use strawberries, it will look gorgeous.

Ingredients: 18 cm cake

Fluffy Basic sponge cake (Recipe ID: 1892947)
For decoration:
Strawberries (1/4 cup)
5 - 6
Kiwi (quartered slices)
as needed
Pineapple (cut into chunks)
as needed
Yellow peaches (cut into chunks)
1 can
Yellow peaches (sliced) or canned mikan tangerines
1 can
Heavy cream
400 ml
40 g


1. Put the heavy cream and sugar into a bowl and whip using a hand mixer.
2. Cut the sponge cake into 2 layers.
3. Use a palette knife to spread the whipped cream from Step 1 onto the sponge cake. Top with the yellow peaches or the canned mikan tangerines and then spread on the whipped cream again. Place the other layer of sponge cake on top and spread the whipped cream over the whole cake.
4. Decorate the cake using a pastry bag filled with whipped cream. Arrange fruit randomly on top and it's all done.
