Simple Crepes From Pancake Mix

Simple Crepes From Pancake Mix

By wrapping them, you could make a delicious and fancy dessert. I easily made this from pancake mix.

Ingredients: 7-8 20 cm diameter crepes

Pancake mix
30 g
Egg (medium)
Milk or Soy Milk
70 g
5 g

1. Gather your ingredients.
2. Mix the pancake mix and sugar gently with a whisk.
3. Add the egg and mix well with the whisk.
4. Mix until smooth.
5. Add the milk.
6. Continue mixing.
7. Heat a Teflon frying pan and melt the butter.
8. Take about 80% of a ladle full of batter and pour into the pan.
9. Let the batter spread out in the pan. Now cook it on a low heat to prevent burning.
10. As it cooks and changes color, it will start to peel around the edges. When it starts to look like a lightly fried egg, flip it.
11. All it needs is about 10 seconds on the other side and it's done!
12. Put the crepe on a plate and cook the rest of the batter. Once it's all done, wrap and let cool.
13. As for the filling, try ice cream, custard, or fruit as a dessert!
14. You could also fill it with candied chestnuts and whipped cream. All you need is chocolate sauce on top and you're set!

Story Behind this Recipe

While I was working at a cake shop, I would make 3 liters worth of crepes every day.

3 liters is too much to make at home, so I greatly reduced the ingredient amounts that won't clump and would cook beautifully.
