Spicy Stir-Fried Ground Meat and Shirataki Noodles

A spicy, rich flavored Chinese style stir-fry that really wakes up your appetite!

Ingredients: a lot

Shirataki noodles (konnyaku noodles)
2 bags (400 g)
Ground beef (or pork or chicken)
170 g
★ Grated ginger
About 2 teaspoons
★ Doubanjiang
1 to 2 teaspoons
◎ Soy sauce
3 tablespoons
◎ Mirin, sake, sugar
2 tablespoons each
◎ Water
3 tablespoons
◎ Chicken soup stock granules
1 teaspoon
Vegetable oil for stir frying
a small amount


1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and add some salt. Boil the shirataki noodles for a couple of minutes, drain into a colander or sieve, and cut into easy to eat lengths.
2. Put the ★ ingredients and oil into a frying pan, and stir fry until fragrant. Add the ground meat and stir fry until crumbly.
3. Add the shirataki noodles and stir fry quickly. Add the ◎ ingredients, and simmer until there's no moisture left in the pan.
4. Done!
