Well-Seasoned Octopus Karaage

A standard menu at a Japanese izakaya (gastro-pubs). These are octopus fried karaage-style that's perfect as a drinking appetizers or to serve with rice. It's a dish that's really easy to prepare, too!


1 pack (1 whole tentacle)
★Soy sauce
2 teaspoons
2 teaspoons
2 tablespoons
Frying oil
As needed
▲Flour (optional)
2 tablespoons


1. After you set aside for 10 minutes, if you coat it again with katakuriko after coating with flour, it prevents bursting.
2. It's ready to eat when golden brown.
