Maple Sugar on Toast

Enjoy the crunchiness of the sugar and the smoothness of the maple sugar. Maple and sugar are a blissful combination

Ingredients: 1 serving

Sliced bread
1 slice
Maple syrup (or maple-flavored syrup)
to taste
Butter or margarine
to taste
2 teaspoons
a pinch


1. Score the bread. Using a crisscrossed pattern is the best!
2. Spread butter or margarine over the entire surface.
3. Spread the maple syrup over the entire surface.
4. It should look like this after you spread the maple syrup.
5. Put the sugar on top, using a spoon or knife to spread it over the entire slice.
6. Toast in a toaster oven. Enjoy. It took about 5 minutes in my toaster oven, but every apparatus is different, so please adjust accordingly.
7. It's kind of a makeshift recipe, but it's really yummy!

I ate a maple-flavored sugar toast and it was so good that I just had to try to make it myself! This is what I came up with.
