Story Behind this Recipe
Since my son loves karaage, and I'm a big fan of sweet and sour pork, this was a compromise that became our family's go-to dish. I played around with the seasoning. Sometime I'll get around to making a regular recipe.
My son hates vegetables and will eat the karaage up before they're seasoned, so I flavor the chicken for a thicker taste. You can make this if you have any leftover chicken karaage. When adding the sweet vinegar sauce, mix well since the katakuriko tends to settle at the bottom of the bowl.
