Simmered Flounder

This simmered flounder dish is simple and tasty!

Ingredients: 2 servings

Flounder
2 pieces
Soy sauce
3 tablespoons
Mirin
3 tablespoons
Sugar
1 tablespoon
Sake
100 ml
Water
150 ml
Ginger paste
5 cm

Steps

1. Put the soy sauce, mirin, sugar, sake, water and grated ginger in a pan and turn on the heat.
2. When it has come to the boil, add the fish.
3. Place the lid on and simmer over low-medium heat for 15 minutes.
4. Leave it a short while to let the flavours blend.
5. Transfer to a serving plate to finish.
