Easy Fluffy Katsudon with Leftover Tonkatsu

Use up your leftover tonkatsu to make fluffy, creamy katsudon. This time I made it with leftover fillet pork cutlet.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Pork cutlet (tonkatsu)
as needed
Onion (medium)

Eggs

☆Water
250ml
☆Dashi stock granules
1 tablespoon
☆Sake
50ml
☆Mirin
70ml
☆Sugar
40g
Soy sauce
40ml

Steps

1. Put all ☆ ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil to evaporate the alcohol.
2. Add soy sauce and sliced onion to the pan and simmer until the onion is tender.
3. Add the pork cutlet, beaten eggs and cover with a lid. Once the egg has cooked, it's done.
