25 g
75 g
Frying oil
as needed
This recipe is for vegans or for those with dairy allergies

1. Cut the sweet potato into small pieces and boil. It's also okay to microwave.
2. Smash the sweet potatoes into a paste. If you want sweeter results, add light brown sugar.
3. Add the katakuriko and shiratamako and mix everything together well.
4. This is what it'll look like after the mixing in Step 3.
5. Roll into 2-3 cm diameter balls.
6. Fry the sweet potato balls in 140-160℃ oil for at least 2 minutes. If you lightly press down on them with the back of a spoon, etc. while frying, they'll absorb air and expand.
7. Once the outsides have browned, they're done.
