Easy Microwave Udon Noodles with Yakiniku Sauce

This is an easy recipe, which only creates few dirty dishes and cooking in a microwave. All you need for the seasoning is yakiniku sauce. It's very delicious.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Frozen udon noodles
1 portion
Thinly sliced pork
40 g
Japanese leek
Shiitake mushrooms
Yakiniku sauce (medium-spicy)
2 1/2 tablespoons


1. Microwave the frozen udon noodles in the bag for 3.5 minutes at 600 W.
2. Cut the pork into bite-size pieces, thinly slice the Japanese leek diagonally, and thinly slice the shiitake mushroom. Coat in the yakiniku sauce. Cover with plastic wrap, and microwave for 1.5 minutes at 600 W.
3. Add the udon noodles into Step 2, and mix.
4. Remove the wrap, and microwave again for another 1.5 minutes at 600 W. Briefly stir, transfer to a bowl, then it's done.

I often use frozen udon noodles to cook up my lunches, but I don't want to do extra dishes and don't want to use gas... so I always them cook in a microwave.
