Steamed Moist Chicken in a Microwave

You can make this in no time when you want to use it for salad or sandwiches. The key ingredients are sake and olive oil.

Ingredients: For 1 chicken tenderloin

Chicken tenderloin
Sake (water)
1 tablespoon
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
Salt and pepper
a small amount


1. Place the chicken tenderloin on a plate. Marinate with sake, olive oil, salt and pepper. Tightly cover with plastic wrap, and microwave for 1 - 2 minutes at 500 W.
2. After microwaving, it's easy to tear it apart by hand. I used this chicken for fresh spring rolls. (Recipe ID: 2152105)
3. You can use this chicken in many different dishes such as udon noodles and pho.

Story Behind this Recipe

I wanted to use the chicken to pack in a bento, so I microwaved it. It's easy but becomes very tender. It's better if you slice it thinly.
