Easy Roasted Soy Flour Snowball Cookies

These are easy roasted soybean flour (Kinako) snowball cookies. The dough bakes quickly in this easy and quick recipe. No need for butter or eggs. All you kinako-lovers out there, you must give this a try.

Ingredients: 16 cookies

Cake flour
70 g
30 g
10 g
Vegetable oil
30 g
Roasted soy flour, powdered sugar (to finish)
As you like


1. Pre-heat the oven to 170℃. Put the bowl on a scale and add all the ingredients.
2. Mix well with a spatula.
3. I rolled them by hand this time. Line up on a baking tray with gaps in between them, and bake for 15 minutes at 320°F/170°C.
4. Done! If you touch them they will crumble, so wait until they have cooled down.
5. Once they have cooled, coat in a mixture of soybean flour and sugar, as you like.

My friend who loves roasted soybean flour (Kinako) requested these. I was going to shape them into squares like I usually do, but this time the dough was a bit sticky, so I rolled them into balls.
