Tuna & Natto Stir-Fried Udon Noodles

These stir-fried udon noodles are easy, filling and budget-friendly. Sprinkle on some bonito flakes or nori seaweed if you like.

Ingredients: 2 servings

1 pack
Canned tuna
1 can
Udon noodles
2 packs
Mentsuyu (3x concentrated)
4 tablespoons
to taste


1. Stir-fry the beaten eggs.
2. Add the 2 packages of udon noodles. Stir-fry the noodles over medium heat while drizzling in a tiny bit of water and loosening the noodles.
3. Reduce heat to low mix in the canned tuna.
4. Add the natto, then 4 tablespoons of mentsuyu. If the natto comes with its own sauce, add that too.
5. Add the desired amount of mayonnaise and stir.
6. Serve it on a plate and it is done. Sprinkle on some bonito flakes or shredded nori seaweed and enjoy.

Story Behind this Recipe

I was starving one day and wanted to eat something more interesting than regular natto and rice. So I used the things in my fridge to make stir-fried udon noodles.
