Easy Caramel Pancake Mix Pound Cake

A sweet pound cake with swirls of caramel cream.

1. Put the butter in a heat-resistant bowl and cover loosely with plastic wrap. Microwave it at 500 W for about 40 seconds. Add the sugar and mix with a whisk.
2. Beat the egg in another bowl, then add it in little by little to Step 1. Mix it in well with each addition, making sure that the egg is distributed evenly.
3. Add the pancake mix and use a spatula to stir it in until there are no flour streaks.
4. Transfer 1/3 of the Step 3 batter to a separate bowl.
5. Use Recipe ID: 2141880 for the caramel cream.
6. Preheat the oven to 180℃. Add 1/3 of the caramel cream from Step 5 to the 1/3 of batter from Step 4, and mix well.
7. Place a carefully lined cake pan on a baking sheet, then pour in the remaining batter from Step 3. Next, pour the batter from Step 6 on top.
8. Use chopsticks to quickly and roughly swirl in the batter.
9. Bake the cake for about 30 minutes at 180℃.
10. Insert a wooden skewer, and if it comes out clean, the cake is done.
11. Drizzle the leftover cream on top of cake.
