You can use leftover seasoned spinach. Instead of hon dashi broth, substitute consommé, or Chinese soup base. Cabbage, Napa cabbage, crab sticks, kamaboko (fish paste cake), and various mushrooms are great to add, but please consider the carb content when doing so. Sprinkle yuzu (citrus) pepper for some shine.
