Our Household's Staple * Pan-Fried Pork with Ginger ♬

In our house if we've got pork and are wondering what to make, we eventually decide on pan-fried pork with ginger. The amounts are easy to remember and it's simple to make.
Add vegetables to boost the hearty dish.

Ingredients: serves 3 to 4

Coarsely chopped pork
300 g
Shimeji mushrooms
1 packet
☆Cooking sake
2 tablespoons
2 tablespoons
☆Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
15 g


1. Grate the ginger. Mix the ☆ ingredients together and set aside. Remove the stems from the mushrooms and separate.
2. Add oil (not listed) to a heated pan and cook the pork on medium heat. Once cooked through, add the mushrooms and cook until wilted.
3. Add the ☆ ingredients, cover with a lid and boil. Open the lid and stir two or three times.
4. Once the juices have cooked, it's finished!
5. This has bean sprouts and onion. They're not very visible though.

I've been making this for so long I don't even remember how and when I started, lol.
Probably, I was looking at other's recipes and thought I wanted to do it simply, so I came up with a version for our household.
