Mince the onion, grate the carrot, and chop the tomato.
Heat a small amount of olive oil in a frying pan and saute the onion until lightly browned.
Add the grated carrot and continue cooking. Once cooked, add the ground meat.
Once the meat has changed color, add the water and tomato. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the ketchup and simmer for another 10 minutes to finish it up.

You could also mince the carrot. You can make this with any vegetables for different varations. The meat sauce in the photo is made with re-hydrated shiitake mushrooms. I also used the water that the mushrooms were re-hydrated in.
