Macrobiotic Black Tea Flavoured Almond Cookies

These cookies have got a beautiful black tea flavour. It doesn't contain sugar or dairy products. And it's easy to make.

Ingredients: 30 pieces (about 2 x 3 cm each)

☆ Cake flour
60 g
☆Whole wheat flour (or Cake flour)
60 g
☆ Black tea leaves
1 tablespoon
☆ Crushed almonds
15 g
☆ Salt
a pinch
Canola oil
3 tablespoons
Maple syrup
3 tablespoons


1. Put all the ☆ ingredients in a bowl and mix with a whisk. Preheat the oven to 160°C.
2. Add the canola oil and maple syrup and mix evenly until everything is combined.
3. Piece the dough on the kitchen bench top, and roll it over to 5 mm thick.
4. Cut into around 2 x 3 cm pieces. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes first and turn them over. Then bake another 15 minutes.
