Simple & Easy Ginger Chicken Saute

Simple & Easy Ginger Chicken Saute

I cooked cheap chicken breast in a ginger pork sauce.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Chicken breast
to coat the chicken
●Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
1/2 teaspoon
●Ginger (from a tube)
3 cm
Vegetable oil
as needed

1. Make a slit in the center of the chicken breast. Slice to open up from the slit outwards to make thin slices.
2. Season one side of the chicken with salt and pepper and the other side with katakuriko.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the side with the katakuriko first. Once the chicken has browned, flip over.
4. After both sides of the chicken are golden brown, pour in the combined ● ingredients. Simmer to reduce the sauce and toss the chicken pieces..
5. For a cabbage side dish I recommend this recipe 'Sesame Flavored Easy Cabbage Pickle with Shio-koji'

Story Behind this Recipe

I was thinking how I could make a cheap meal with chicken breasts. I replaced the usual ginger pork saute with chicken meat.
