Simple Scallop Sauté in Soy Sauce & Butter

How about an elegant sauté you can simply whip up in no time? Loved by adults as well as kids.
For adults, you can sprinkle with a bit of chili pepper on top, very delicious!

Ingredients: 4 servings

6 to 8
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
to taste
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
Plain flour
as needed


1. Lightly blanch and wash the scallops in water. Drain in a colander.
2. Remove the black intestine part.
3. Coat the scallops with flour.
4. Add some oil to a frying pan, and cook both sides until golden brown.
5. Once they've browned add the sugar and mirin and bring to a simmer.
6. Add the butter and soy sauce, and simmer. When the sauces have reduced, it's done.
