Turnip with Soboro Ginger An-Sauce

Turnip with Soboro Ginger An-Sauce

I used plenty of ginger and ground meat. Ginger is a nice accent in this dish and it's very delicious.

Ingredients: 2 servings

1 large (220 g) or 2 small
Ground mixed pork and beef
100 g
1 thumb (15 g)
150 ml
1 1/2 tablespoons
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
*Usukuchi soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon
2 pinches
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon

1. Chop the turnip into wedges or bite-size pieces (I used a larger size turnip, so I cut it into small pieces.) Julienne the ginger.
2. Add ground meat and ginger to a pot, and stir-fry. (Use oil if needed.)
3. Add the turnip and * ingredients.
4. Turn down the heat, cover with a lid, and simmer until the turnip becomes transparent and soft.
5. Combine the ※ ingredients, and pour in to thicken, then it's done.

Story Behind this Recipe

I often cook this turnip dish at my house.
