Easy in the Microwave Juicy Steamed Chicken

You can make this in a microwave in a no time, and it'll still be tasty.

Ingredients: 2-4 portions

Chicken breast
1 (250 - 350 g)
◎ Salt
1 teaspoon
◎ Sake
2 scant tablespoons
◎ Sugar
1 heaping tablespoon


1. Put the chicken breast in a heat proof container and rub in the ingredients marked ◎. Leave the chicken at room temperature for at least 30 minutes to season. I used 2 chicken breasts (330 g) this time.
2. Cover it loosely with plastic wrap and microwave it at 500W for 3 and a half minutes, or at 600W for 3 minutes. Adjust the time as necessary for your microwave.
3. Cut the chicken into 1 cm thick slices, and serve.
4. It's tasty with a sauce made with olive oil, yuzu pepper, sugar, soy sauce and salt.
5. For the next day's breakfast: butter roll sandwiches with lettuce and mayo.
6. It is also good in buns.

I had 1 chicken breast, and I didn't want it to go to waste. I referred Chinami Hamauchi's recipe 'Tender Steamed Chicken Breast', and I arranged the seasonings.
