Macrobiotic Coffee Flavoured Whole Wheat Flour Almond Cookies

Crispy! It has a beautiful flavour with coffee, almond and maple syrup. You can't stop eating.

Ingredients: 30 pieces (about 2 x 3 cm size)

☆Whole wheat flour (or cake flour)
60 g
☆Cake flour
60 g
☆Crushed almonds
15 g
☆Instant coffee powder
2 teaspoons
☆Salt
a pinch
Maple syrup
3 tablespoons
Canola oil
3 tablespoons

Steps

1. Crush the almonds into small pieces. Preheat the oven to 160°C.
2. Put all the ☆ ingredients in a bowl and mix with a whisk.
3. Add canola oil and maple syrup and combine evenly until it all comes together with your hands.
4. Place on a kitchen bench top and roll it to about 5 mm thick. Cut into 2 x 3 cm pieces.
5. Put them on a baking tray and bake in an oven preheated to 160°C for 15 minutes at first. Then, turn them over and bake for another 15 minutes.
