Tofu Burger Stuffed Tomato

Try this as a fancy appetizer. Low-fat, oven-baked dish.

Ingredients: for 3 servings

Tomatoes
3
Chicken breast tenders
2 strips
Firm tofu
100 g
Shiitake mushrooms
2 pieces
Lotus root
Around 3 cm
● Ketchup
2 teaspoons
● Mayonnaise
2 teaspoons
Panko
2 teaspoons
●Salt and pepper
To taste
● Oregano (dried)
To taste
● Allspice
To taste
~Sauce~
■ Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
■ Sake, mirin, and sugar
1 tablespoon each

Steps

1. Mince shiitake mushrooms and lotus root. Thoroughly remove excess water from the tofu and cut the chicken tenderloin into bite-sized pieces.
2. Blend the chicken tenderloin pieces and the tofu in food processor until it makes a paste.
3. Add meat and vegetables to ● and mix well with a spoon.
4. Stuff the mixed ingredients into tomato skins. Use the tomato for soup or salad.
5. Without pre-heating, bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 230℃.
6. To make the sauce, simmer ■ ingredients in a pan.
7. Arrange on serving dishes.
