English Chili Con Carne on Jacket Potatoes

This is a combination of spicy chili con carne and cheese on top of hot potatoes! This is delicious served hot.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Chili Con Carne (Recipe ID: 2100180)
as needed
Easy melting cheese
8 tablespoons
Grated Parmesan cheese (or other grated cheese)
as needed
Parsley (finely chopped)
a little
Flavored coarsely ground salt and black pepper
as needed
Chili pepper, Tabasco (as desired)
as needed


1. Scrub the potatoes well and cut in half.
2. Wrap in plastic wrap, then heat in the microwave at 600 W for 5-7 minutes. When a skewer can easily pass through, they're ready.
3. Place into a heatproof container or onto a baking sheet lined with kitchen parchment paper and season with salt and pepper.
4. Top with a generous amount of cheese.
5. Bake in an toaster oven or oven at 250℃ for 5 minutes. When the cheese has melted and it's lightly browned, it's ready.
6. Easy and Simple Mexican Chili Con Carne (Recipe ID: 2100180). Top with a generous amount of warm chili con carne.
7. Sprinkle a generous amount of grated cheese on top of the chili con carne for a delicious double cheese taste.
8. Finally, sprinkle with parsley. If you like it spicy, top with some chili powder or Tabasco.

When I was living in England, I had this many times. I became interested in it, so I decided to replicate this potato recipe!
