This satisfying onigiri has a whole marinated soft-boiled egg inside. It makes a great impressed and is really filling too. Plus it's surprisingly easy to make!
I discovered these onigiri with marinated soft-boiled eggs at my office lounge. It was so tasty, I made my own spin of it.
Make sure to use a thin layer of rice to avoid the onigiri from becoming too bulky. Slice in half without removing the plastic wrap so it doesn't get too messy inside.
