Light Soy Sauce Ramen Soup

You can make this light soy sauce ramen soup in no time.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Japanese leek
Sesame oil
1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon
350 ml
Chicken soup stock granules
1 teaspoon
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
Oyster sauce
1 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
Salt and pepper
a small amount
Grated garlic
to taste


1. Boil 350 ml of water in a pot.
2. Heat lard and sesame oil in a frying pan, add chopped Japanese leek, and briefly stir-fry for about 10 seconds.
3. Add the remaining ingredients in the boiling water from Step 1, bring to a boil again, then turn off the heat.
4. Transfer the soup into a bowl. Add freshly boiled noodles, and scatter the leeks with the oil over the noodles. Top with toppings you like, and it's done.

Story Behind this Recipe

I love noodles, and buying fresh noodles and making my own soup costs less than buying instant noodles. It's more delicious too, so I created this recipe.
I'm from Kansai area, so I prefer light soup better.
