Easy Breakfast in Just 5 Minutes! Fried Rice with Sausage

I only had 2 little sausages and 1 egg in my refrigerator! So this is what I made. It's a really satisfying and filling fried rice.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Plain cooked rice
1 bowl
Wiener sausages
1 teaspoon
Salt and pepper
1/4 teaspoon each
Sesame oil
1 teaspoon
Soy sauce
1 teaspoon


1. Combine the warm rice and raw egg very well. If you're using leftover cooled rice, microwave it to warm it up!
2. Cut the sausages into small pieces.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan and cook the sausage. Keep the heat on medium.
4. Add the rice to the frying pan and cook while mixing it up. Once the rice becomes crumbly, flavor with salt, pepper, sesame oil, and soy sauce. Mix everything together and it's done!

Story Behind this Recipe

I always make this for my beloved daughter's bento.
I don't go grocery shopping until everything in the house is completely used up because I want to make sure I use up everything.
Because of this, we enjoy single ingredient fried rice from the beginning of the month to the end.
...My daughter didn't actually say this was good, it's just my opinion.
