An Easy Breakfast Iwanori Mayonnaise Toast

This is a mix of Japanese and Western tastes that's surprisingly delicious.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Sliced bread
1 slice
☆Iwanori (seaweed paste)
1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon
☆Wasabi paste
A small amount
Cheese (easy melting type)
1 slice


1. Put ☆ on the bread and spread while mixing together.
2. Place a slice of cheese on top and toast in an toaster oven for 3-5 minutes.

Story Behind this Recipe

When I went to take the jam out of the refrigerator, I saw the jar of iwanori (seaweed paste). I thought it might taste good on bread, so I tried it out. The taste wasn't so strong to the mayonnaise. I think next time, I might try adding chirimen jako.
