Vegetarian Natto Yamamaimo Bake

A soft and elegant side dish made from natto and yamaimo. Natto is healthy and full of protein. This is a vegan recipe based on a vegetable diet and excludes onions, garlic, chives, and leek.

Ingredients: 2 servings

2 packs
Yamaimo (grated)
1/2 cup
2 tablespoons
1/2 cup
Soy sauce (natto sauce is also OK)
1 tablespoon
Olive oil
as needed


1. Place the natto in a bowl and mix. Then add the grated yamaimo and soy sauce and mix again.
2. Add flour and water to the bowl and mix together.
3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan. Use a ladle to scoop out the Step 2 mixture into pancakes and fry in the pan.
4. Once both sides have fully cooked, they're complete.

This is a recipe I thought of for when you tire of eating natto. With this, you can eat two packs of natto in no time.
