Crispy Pan-Fried Leftover Ramen Fritters

Crispy Pan-Fried Leftover Ramen Fritters

Leftover ramen noodles get all limp, and you never really know what to do with them. This is a recipe for turning them into fritters.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Ramen noodles
1 small bowl full
Plain white flour
5 tablespoons
Ramen soup
5 tablespoons
(If you don't have ramen soup)
2 1/2 tablespoons
2 1/2 tablespoons
Sesame oil
to taste
Japanese leek, nori seaweed etc. for garnishing

1. Combine flour and soup (if you don't have any, the mentsuyu and water) in a bowl and mix together. When they are well mixed, add the noodles.
2. Spread sesame oil in a frying pan and pan fry the step 1 mixture. They'll be easy to eat if you divide it into 4 portions.
3. Make the fritters as thin and flat as possible to make them cook to a crispy, delicious finish.
4. Turn the fritters over to fry the other side, and serve.
5. They are tasty topped with chopped leek or shredded nori seaweed.
