Cut the onion into thin slices along the grain.
Cut the green pepper into half vertically, then cut into thin slices.
Cut the sausages into thin slices diagonally.
Boil the pasta for 1 minute shorter than directed on the package.
Cook the sausages in a deep non-stick frying pan without any oil. Add the onions, and cook until slightly wilted.
Add the green peppers and cook briefly.
Add the ＊ ingredients. If you'd like more soup, add 50-100 ml of milk, and adjust the flavor to taste.
Add the boiled pasta and mix well.
Transfer to a serving plate and top with coarsely ground black pepper. Top with grated cheese if you like!
Story Behind this Recipe
I came up with this recipe thinking that Napolitan pasta, that I love, would also be delicious as a soup pasta.
Once the milk starts to bubble, don't let it continue to boil for very long. Try to time things so that the soup is ready and the pasta finishes boiling at about the same time. Use whatever amounts you like for the ketchup and Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce.
