Soak the burdock root in water for 5 minutes. Skim off the scum. Finely chop the beef. Combine the B) ingredients.
Heat a frying pan on medium-high. Sauté the beef and lightly season with salt and pepper.
When the meat has cooked through, add the A) ingredients and sauté.
Add the B) ingredients and cook until the liquid has evaporated. It's done.
It tastes delicious if you wrap it up with bean sprout namul (Recipe ID: 1368309), fried glass noodles, or white spring onion.
Story Behind this Recipe
It's my child's favorite dish.
Prepare and combine all of the ingredients beforehand so that you can make this in one go. It's fine to use ground meat but it's easier to chop up thinly sliced meat since the pieces will be larger and easier to eat. Plus, there will be less fat. If serving to adults, add gochujang red chili paste!
