Meat and Veggie Filled Miso & Lettuce Wraps

The meat miso is packed with cubed and flavorful vegetables. Top it on rice or wrap it in lettuce -- either way is delicious!

Ingredients: easy-to-make portions

Thinly sliced beef
250 g
A) Burdock Root (5 mm cubes)
A) Carrot (5 mm cubes)
A) Shimeji Mushrooms (5 mm cubes)
1/4 pack
A) White Spring Onion (white and green parts)
total 1/4
A) Garlic (roughly minced)
2 cloves
A) Ginger (roughly minced)
1 piece
B) Miso
About 4 tablespoons
B) Sugar
3 tablespoons
B) Soy Sauce
1.5 tablespoons
B) Sake, Mirin, Sesame Oil
1/2 tablespoon
B) Sesame Seeds
1 tablespoon
Salt and pepper
A small amount


1. Soak the burdock root in water for 5 minutes. Skim off the scum. Finely chop the beef. Combine the B) ingredients.
2. Heat a frying pan on medium-high. Sauté the beef and lightly season with salt and pepper.
3. When the meat has cooked through, add the A) ingredients and sauté.
4. Add the B) ingredients and cook until the liquid has evaporated. It's done.
5. It tastes delicious if you wrap it up with bean sprout namul (Recipe ID: 1368309), fried glass noodles, or white spring onion.
