Chicken Steak with Avocado Sauce

The healthy chicken breast is great with the rich avocado sauce. Even if you cook inexpensive chicken breast, the dish will be healthy and delicious.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Chicken breast
1 to 2 tablespoons
1 tablespoon
a small amount
Sauce 1:
Soy sauce
3 tablespoons
Honey (or sugar)
1 1/2 tablespoons
1 1/2 tablespoons
Sauce 2:
a small amount
Black pepper
a pinch


1. Cut the chicken breast in half. Marinate in the sake and salt.
2. Wipe the excess moisture from the chicken. Coat with katakuriko.
3. Heat a frying pan and spread olive oil (not listed on the ingredient list) in the pan. Cook the skin side first.
4. Cover with a lid. Cook both sides until golden brown. While frying the chicken, combine the soy sauce, honey, and mirin to make sauce 1. Mash the avocado and add a small amount of salt.
5. When the chicken is cooked, add sauce 1 to the pan to coat the chicken with the sauce. Cut the chicken and serve on a plate.
6. Serve with avocado and top with black pepper.
7. I served rice and salad on the same plate to make a one-dish meal.
