Stewed Spinach with Natto

A super easy, but unique side dish with natto!
Coarsely ground pepper really brings out the sweetness of spinach, making it a surprisingly good match for natto. It's one of my family's favorites.

Ingredients: 2 servings

1 pack
50 g
Dashi soy sauce (soy sauce mixed with dashi)
1 tablespoon
Coarsely ground black pepper
to taste


1. Parboil the spinach, lightly squeeze to drain the water, then cut into 1 cm pieces.
2. Combine the natto and spinach in a bowl and lightly toss.
3. Add the dashi soy sauce and black pepper and mix (if using the provided soy sauce packaged with the natto, taste, then add dashi soy sauce to taste).

The concept of this recipe was to come up with an easy and healthy side dish.
Created with my family in mind, it's a nutritious and simple vegetable side dish for strengthening the immune system.
