Combine the ◎ ingredients. Add the egg and beat.
Put the wakame and a small amount of sesame oil (not listed) in a frying pan and lightly sauté. Add the okara.
Add Step 1 to Step 2 and mix. Turn off the heat when the egg is soft-set.
Fill a bowl with rice and top with the wakame egg mixture from Step 3. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and it's complete.
This can also be enjoyed as a snack without rice. Increase the volume by increasing all of the ingredients, except for the egg. Feel free to make modifications.
Story Behind this Recipe
I just love the combination of wakame, egg, and miso. So, I added okara and made a healthy rice bowl.
For the amount of miso, use this recipe as a guide and adjust to your preference. By adding just a bit of sesame oil to the wakame while cooking, you can reduce the raw smell and give it a beautiful color. I used soft, homemade okara.
