Okara Rice Bowl with Wakame

An easy-to-make, budget-saving rice bowl that's healthy, but filling. Leave out the rice and enjoy it as a snack. It's a great way to use up your okara.

Fresh okara
40-50 g
Re-hydrated wakame
40-50 g
Crab sticks (optional)
1/2 tablespoon
1/2 tablespoon
1/2 tablespoon
Cooked white rice
1 bowl
Roasted sesame seeds (for the topping)
as desired

1. Combine the ◎ ingredients. Add the egg and beat.
2. Put the wakame and a small amount of sesame oil (not listed) in a frying pan and lightly sauté. Add the okara.
3. Add Step 1 to Step 2 and mix. Turn off the heat when the egg is soft-set.
4. Fill a bowl with rice and top with the wakame egg mixture from Step 3. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and it's complete.
5. This can also be enjoyed as a snack without rice. Increase the volume by increasing all of the ingredients, except for the egg. Feel free to make modifications.
