Soft Cutlet Sticks with Pork Chunks

These are fried cutlet sticks that are crusty on the outside, and tender in the inside. They're inexpensive, too! Enjoy the umami-rich flavor of the meat!

Ingredients: About 30 sticks

Sliced pork chunks
500 g
Plain flour
As needed
As needed
Salt and pepper
A dash
Bamboo skewers


1. Prepare the flour on a flat container or tray, and the panko in a bowl. Beat the eggs.
2. Lightly salt and pepper the pork. Put about 1 handful of meat onto skewers.
3. Squeeze well - it should look something like this.
4. Dredge with flour, egg, and panko in order. Make sure to coat well with flour and panko!
5. Deep-fry until golden brown.
6. Voila!

Story Behind this Recipe

I used to make these cutlet sticks with beef, but it turned out so tasty and cheap when I used pork chunks! It's now a standard dish in our family.
