Walnut Croquants with Frozen Puff Pastry

These croquant cookies are easy to make with frozen puff pastries. The caramelized brown sugar is delicious!

Ingredients: 5 cookies (9 cm in diameter)

Frozen puff pastry
300 g
Walnuts
100 g
Granulated sugar
50 g
Brown sugar
50 g

Steps

1. Roast the walnuts in the oven preheated to 150℃ for 5 minutes, break into pieces with your hands, then let cool.
2. Partially defrost the frozen puff pastry, and cut into 1-2 cm squares.
3. Mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, Step 1, and 2.
4. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper, and place circular molds. Pack in the mixture Step 3 and bake in the oven preheated to 200℃ for about 30 minutes.
