Simple Absolutely Crumbly Egg Fried Rice

Simple Absolutely Crumbly Egg Fried Rice

A part of my Kids' Cooking Series! A crumbly fried rice that anyone can make!

Ingredients: 1 serving

Hot cooked white rice
150-200 g
2 slices
2 sticks
Salt and pepper
a small amount
Soy sauce
a little
Vegetable oil
1 tablespoon

1. Cut the bacon into 1 cm wide strips. Peel the root ends of the asparagus and cut into 1 cm long pieces.
2. Beat the egg and add salt and pepper. Then mix into the rice.
3. Heat a frying pan and add the bacon and asparagus. Once they've cooked, remove and set aside.
4. In the same frying pan, heat the vegetable oil, add the rice from Step 2 and cook.
5. Once the rice has become crumbly, add the ingredients from Step 3 and combine. Drizzle a bit of soy sauce and mix together briskly.

Story Behind this Recipe

To make this for my kids home economics class at school... I'd heard that it becomes crumbly but I'd never actually tried it. I finally tried it for myself and was fairly surprised!
