Apple & Sake Lees Cake

Here's a macrobiotic cake with plenty of sake less that's good for beautiful skin. It has plenty of apples for moistness.

Ingredients: 20 cm square pan

Sake lees
80 g
Fresh okara
120 g
Maple syrup
40 g
100 g
Vegetable oil
20 g
All-purpose flour
120 g
1/2 teaspoon
150 g
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon

1. Add the sake lees, okara, maple syrup, and water to a bowl. Let it sit for a while, then mix well.
2. Use a hand-mixer, etc. to smoothen the sake lees until no longer lumpy. Mix well. Once mixed, add the vegetable oil.
3. Combine and sift the cake flour and salt. Add to the bowl and use a rubber spatula to mix well.
4. Cut the apple into small pieces and coat with the lemon juice. Mix into the bowl with the other ingredients.
5. Pour the batter into the square baking pan or other baking pan and bake in the oven at 180℃ for 50 minutes.
