Food Hall Style Broccoli and Tuna Salad

Food Hall Style Broccoli and Tuna Salad

You can make the type of takeout dish you can buy in a department store food hall at home. It's a very simple side dish that you can prepare in just 10 minutes!

Ingredients

Broccoli
1
Small onion
1/5
Carrot
3 cm
Canned tuna
1 can (80 g)
★ Mayonnaise
As much as you like
★ White sesame seeds
a small amount

Steps

1. Wash the broccoli and put in a plastic bag. Put the bag in a microwave without closing it up, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes at 600 W.
2. Put the cooked broccoli in a colander or sieve and drain well.
3. Cut the onion with a slicer very thinly, and shred the carrot. (I recommend using new sweet onions.)
4. Drain the tuna and divide the broccoli into small florets. Mix both with the onion, carrot, and ★ ingredients together in a bowl, and it's done.
5. I used canned tuna with corn for this one.

Story Behind this Recipe

The salad I bought in a department store food hall was delicious, so I tried re-creating it at home and succeeded.
